All the plans for the marina in Zygi are finished. The pier that is now in Zygi will be demolished and replaced with two new piers and the marina will run 100m each way from the piers.

Work has finally started on the Zygi Marina Project. Currently contractors are renovating the old buildings next to the Captain’s Table Restaurant. These will become the Port Authority, Customs and Police offices.
Work is expected to start on the jetties in September/October. Nobody is giving a definite date for the completion of the works, but we’ll keep you posted when we hear any more.
